Poverty is considered one of the major social issues in the world today. Poverty is defined as the state or condition of having little or no money, goods, or any means of support. Poverty is not something that just randomly happens; this issue has been around for many, many years. For some people poverty is described as living from paycheck to paycheck. Lower income people are often looked down on because of the situation they are in, but not how they got to that point in their life or how can they get out of it. This issue occurs in many different countries in the world, countries such as; Liberia, Zimbabwe, Malwi and Central African Republic, just to name a few. The United States of America might be the leading country of the nations, but also have fellow citizens who are living under the poverty line. Being less fortunate is not by choose but by lack of education, the inability to have a stable job and sometimes by the actions of the government. There are many ways to help someone who is struggling back to their feet. Many people who are living under the poverty line, increases annually because of capitalism. People were upset at the fact that they were being mistreated and were not able to avoid living in poverty. Poverty is rapidly expanding throughout America.
